Herbed Turkey Apple Burgers

Servings: 6  |  Preparation Time: 15 minutes  |  Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

500 g (1 lb) ground turkey
1 ¼ cup apples, unpeeled, coarsely grated
1 Egg
½ cup breadcrumbs
½ cup finely chopped onion
¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley
½ tsp salt
1 Tbsp Canola oil

Directions

  1. In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except oil.
  2. Form into 6 patties of equal size.
  3. Preheat oil in large saucepan over medium heat.  Cook patties until golden brown, about 10 minutes/side.
  4. Patties can also be broiled in the oven or grilled on the barbecue.

Nutritional Information

Each burger provides ½ serving of vegetables and fruit.
