Insalata Caprese

Ingredients

4 medium-sized tomatoes
2 balls bocconcini cheese
2 tbsp. (30 mL) fresh basil leaves
2 tbsp. (30 mL) olive oil
salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Slice the tomatoes and the bocconcini and chop the basil.
  2. On a flat plate, arrange the tomato and bocconcini slices in concentric circles, slightly overlapping each other.
  3. Add salt and pepper generously. Sprinkle with oil and chopped basil.
